ONLINE SERVICES FOR PATIENTS
Patients are already able to book appointments and order repeat medications online. From 31st March, 2015 the practice can also offer online patient access to parts of their medical records.
Patients who wish to access online services will need to complete an application form and bring the form and two forms of ID, at least one of which should contain a photo, with them to the surgery. Staff will verify the information and if accepted the patient will be registered for access. A PIN number will be provided once the application has been registered.
Patients who currently have access for appointments and repeat medications who wish to register for this new service will also need to complete a new application form and bring in ID.

Our procedure for prescribing medication may be quite different to your previous doctor, but it is designed with your safety in mind.
If you need a prescription for a new condition, or one you have not had for some time, it can only be issued by a doctor and an appointment will be needed. Please note we do not issue antibiotics for colds and most coughs/sore throats.
If your condition needs the medication to be repeated on a monthly basis, the doctor will arrange for this to happen.
To request medication, please present the right hand side of your last prescription, ticking the box alongside the item(s) required. You can also register to request repeat medication online, or you can sign up with your regular pharmacy for our electronic prescription service which allows the pharmacy to request your medication direct with us and for us to send the prescription to them electronically. This removes the need for you to collect the prescription from the practice. Please be aware that there may be certain medications that that practice are unable to send electronically to the pharmacy such as controlled painkillers.
After requesting your medication you should allow two working days for the practice to prepare and sign this before coming into the practice to collect it. If you have arranged for your prescription to be collected by a pharmacist, please allow three working days before collecting from the pharmacy. Please note that the arrangement between you and the pharmacist is not a practice responsibility.
WE ONLY TAKE PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS OVER THE TELEPHONE IF A PATIENT IS HOUSEBOUND AND THIS HAS BEEN AGREED WITH THE PRACTICE.
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
